Shop electric dirt bikes with confidence

Compare classes, find the right fit and learn what to look for before you order.

Find your next electric dirt bike in one place. Our shop brings together lightweight trail bikes, an electric pit bike for younger riders, mid-size performance models and full-size machines from Surron, Talaria, E Ride Pro, Arctic Leopard, Stark, Stealth and AdmitJet. Every bike is priced on its product page and can be ordered online with secure checkout. This guide below the products explains the differences between each class, so you can narrow the list quickly and buy the bike that suits your size, skill and riding.

How to choose the right electric dirt bike

The best bike is the one that fits you and the way you ride. Before you compare spec sheets, think about four things:

  • Your size: seat height and maximum rider load vary a lot between models.
  • Your experience: new riders progress faster on manageable power.
  • Your terrain: tight woods, open fire roads, tracks and pavement all suit different bikes.
  • Your plans: trail riding, racing, commuting where legal, or a bit of everything.

Use the filters and categories above to narrow the list, then open each product page for full specifications, comparisons and photos.

Electric pit bike options

An electric pit bike is a small, light bike made for pit areas, backyard tracks and younger or smaller riders. It is quiet, easy to handle and simple to maintain, which makes it a popular first bike.

The Surron Hyper Bee is our youth electric pit bike. It has a 5 kW motor, a 34 mph top speed, an adjustable seat height and weighs about 86 lb, with parent-friendly features such as a remote control and emergency switch. Young riders should always ride under adult supervision with full protective gear.

Adults who want a pit-bike feel often choose a lightweight model such as the Light Bee X or Talaria X3, which are compact and nimble but powerful enough for grown-up riders.

Electric motocross bike options

An electric motocross bike is built for jumps, berms and whoops, with strong power, long-travel suspension and a chassis that stays stable at speed. In our range, these models are the most track-ready:

Trail and enduro electric dirt bike models

Trail riding rewards light weight, smooth power and good suspension. Lightweight and mid-size bikes are easy to place on tight singletrack and forgiving over roots and rocks. Look for a removable battery so you can carry a spare on long days, and pick tires that suit your local ground.

The Stealth Enduro adds foot pegs, motorcycle fenders and a xenon headlamp, while the Arctic Leopard XE Pro pairs a large 72V battery with a light, agile chassis.

Street-ready and supermoto

If you want to ride on pavement, the Stark VARG SM is an electric supermoto that ships with a road-legal kit. For Light Bee X owners, our Surron street conversion kit adds 17 in wheels with slick tires, and Talaria owners can choose our Talaria supermoto kit. Registration rules vary by state, so always check with your local DMV first.

Hybrid bikes with pedals

The Stealth Bomber keeps working pedals and a Shimano 7-speed drivetrain alongside motor options from 5,000W to 15,000W. It suits riders coming from mountain bikes who like the security of being able to pedal home.

Electric dirt bike power, battery and range

Three numbers tell you most of what you need to know. Peak power shows how hard the bike accelerates. Voltage is the system pressure, with higher voltage helping motors run cooler. Battery capacity, in amp-hours or watt-hours, decides range.

Published range figures are usually measured at steady, moderate speeds. Real trail range depends on rider weight, terrain, temperature and riding style, so expect less when you ride hard. A spare battery is the easiest way to extend a riding day.

Finding an electric dirt bike for adults

Adult riders come in every shape and size, so fit matters as much as power. When you sit on the bike, you should be able to touch the ground with the balls of your feet. When you stand on the pegs, the handlebar should sit roughly at hip to waist height.

Taller riders often feel at home on mid-size and full-size bikes with taller seats. Shorter riders may prefer a lightweight model or a bike offered with a smaller rear wheel that lowers the seat. Always check the maximum rider load on the product page.

Your first electric dirt bike

If this is your first motorcycle-style bike, start with manageable power and a light chassis. A lightweight electric dirt bike such as the Light Bee X or Talaria X3 is easy to pick up, easy to transport and forgiving while you learn. Spend your first rides in the lowest power mode in an open area, practicing smooth throttle, braking and turning.

A rider training course and quality protective gear are the best investments any new rider can make.

Stepping up from a lightweight bike

Once your skills grow, you may want more power, range or suspension. Mid-size bikes add a big jump in performance without much extra weight. Full-size bikes deliver motocross-level power and long-travel suspension for experienced riders. Many owners keep their first bike for family members or friends who are just starting out.

The quiet motor is a big bonus. You can ride on private land without bothering neighbors and hear the trail and your riding partners. Most owners find the lower running costs and easy maintenance make electric the simpler choice.

Parts, chargers and spare batteries

We stock parts for many of the bikes we sell, so you can buy your bike and the spares to keep it running in one place. Popular items include the Surron Light Bee X charger, the Surron Ultra Bee charger, the Talaria X3 battery, the Storm Bee battery and Talaria dirt wheels. Browse everything in our parts and accessories category.

Electric dirt bike care

An electric dirt bike needs far less routine work than a gas bike, but a few habits keep it running well:

  • Charge indoors at room temperature and let the battery cool after hard rides.
  • For daily riding, charge to about 80 to 90% and save a full charge for long days.
  • Clean and lube the chain after wet or dusty rides.
  • Check tire pressure, brakes and spokes before every ride.
  • Keep connectors clean and dry, and avoid pressure-washing electrical parts.
  • Store the bike indoors at a partial charge over winter.

Where to ride

Most bikes in our shop are sold for off-road use. Ride on private land, motocross tracks and designated off-highway vehicle areas, and respect trail closures. To find riding areas and learn about responsible off-highway riding, visit the National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation Council.

Always wear a DOT-approved helmet, goggles, gloves, boots and protective gear, and ride within your skill level.

Electric dirt bike brands in our shop

Surron is one of the best-known names in the sport. The Light Bee X is a benchmark lightweight electric dirt bike, the Ultra Bee and Ultra Bee HP step up to a larger chassis, the Storm Bee is a full-size machine, and the Hyper Bee is built for younger riders.

Talaria offers the X3 and the Sting family, which use a sealed gearbox drive with no belt, plus the MX5 Pro and the full-size Komodo with a 96V system.

E Ride Pro makes the light SS 2.0 and the 25 kW SR, both with swappable Samsung-cell batteries.

Arctic Leopard builds the XE Pro and XE Pro S, light bikes with large 72V batteries and chain drive.

More brands include Stark, whose VARG SM is a high-power electric supermoto, Stealth with the Enduro and pedal-equipped Bomber, and AdmitJet with the Armor, a full-size electric dirt bike with a 4-speed gearbox and reverse.

Electric pit bike vs full-size bike

An electric pit bike is small, light and easy to manage, which makes it ideal for younger riders, backyard loops and pit areas. A full-size bike has bigger wheels, longer suspension and far more power, so it handles rough terrain and high speeds with confidence. Choose based on the rider and the riding, not just the spec sheet.

Setting up an electric motocross bike

A few adjustments make any electric motocross bike feel better on the track. Set suspension sag for your weight, adjust lever angles so your wrists stay straight when standing, and set tire pressure for the track surface. If your bike has adjustable power maps or regen, start with a softer setting and build up as you learn the track.

Choosing an electric dirt bike by budget

You do not need the most powerful bike to have a great time. Lightweight models offer a big step up from e-bikes and small pit bikes at a lower price than full-size machines. Mid-size bikes add serious performance, while full-size bikes replace a gas 250 or 450. Set aside part of your budget for safety gear, a spare charger and basic tools.

Gear and accessories

  • A DOT-approved helmet, goggles, gloves and boots
  • Chest, knee and elbow protection
  • A bike stand for maintenance
  • A spare charger or battery for longer days
  • Chain lube, a tire gauge and a basic tool kit

Charging at home

Most of our bikes charge from a standard wall outlet in a few hours. Set up one safe charging spot, ideally a garage or shed with a concrete floor, good airflow and a smoke detector. Keep the area clear of fuel, paint and cardboard, let a hot battery cool before plugging in and unplug the charger once the battery is full.

A spare battery for longer days

Many owners add a second battery once they are hooked. Swapping packs at the trailhead doubles your riding time without waiting for a charge, and you can charge one pack at home while you ride on the other. Check that your model has a removable battery before you plan around a spare.

Riding through the seasons

Batteries deliver less energy when they are cold, so expect shorter range in winter and store the bike indoors before a ride. In summer, park in the shade and let the battery cool before charging. Wet months call for extra chain care and a gentle rinse after muddy rides.

Transporting your bike

Lightweight bikes fit easily in a pickup bed or on a small trailer. Use a wheel chock, soft loops on the handlebar and quality ratchet straps pulling down and forward. Compress the fork slightly, but never fully, and secure any spare battery or charger so it cannot move during the drive.

Riding as a family

Quiet electric bikes are a great way for families to ride together. Adults can choose anything from a light trail bike to a full-size machine, while younger riders start on a youth model under close supervision. Adjustable power modes let each rider progress at their own pace, and the low noise keeps neighbors happy.

Trail etiquette

Electric bikes are quiet, so hikers, horses and cyclists may not hear you coming. Slow down when you meet others, give them room and say hello. Stay on marked trails, avoid riding wet trails that are easily damaged and pack out everything you bring in. Responsible riding keeps trails open for everyone.

Questions to ask before you buy

  • Can I reach the ground comfortably, and is the bike within my weight limit?

  • How far will I ride in a typical day, and is the battery removable?
  • Where will I ride, and are electric bikes allowed there?
  • Which parts and spares are easy to find for this model?
  • How will I transport and store the bike?

Answering these questions honestly will point you toward the right electric dirt bike far faster than comparing top speeds alone.
